Known as the band that plays songs that the cool bands won't, Dillweed is, actually, very cool themselves. Just in the last year, the band, comprised of Red Weit on the stand-up bass and Eric Weit and Boney Fingers on banjos, plays frequently at Wacker Brewing Company, McCleary's Pub and a multitude of other places where the beer flows heavy.

The band joined us on this episode of the Fly After 5 podcast to spin a few yarns and play a few tunes, while also explaining their origin and context in the greater scheme of bluegrass.
