If you're a fan of the Lancaster Craft Beerfest, you may have been wondering how the massive construction project going on in Lancaster Square might affect the annual downtown beer festival.
Never fear, you'll be able to break out your pretzel necklace soon.
The festival, now in its sixth year, will take place as planned on Aug. 25, and tickets are now on sale. As usual, it will feature dozens of beers from breweries both local and national, as well as food and live music.
However, because of that construction, the beer fest will be limited to Binns Park and North Queen Street. In order to accommodate the same number of beer fans into a smaller space, the festival will be divided into two general admission sessions - one from noon to 3 p.m., the other from 4 to 7 p.m.
There will be no VIP session this year.
Each session will have a different color wristband, and you can only attend the session that matches your purchased tickets. Ticket prices, regardless of which session you choose, are $45 ($12 for designated drivers).
